The installation tester is a multifunctional measuring device that is suitable for testing electrical safety in accordance with the EN 61557 and DIN VDE 0100 standards. It offers many functions that are specifically designed for checking and evaluating electrical installations. The installation tester can carry out precise measurement of insulation resistance between live parts and ground. With special functions for RCDs, both Type A and AC controlled residual current circuit breakers can be tested efficiently. This ensures the proper functioning of these vital protective devices.
The installation tester allows the loop resistance to be measured quickly and accurately to ensure that in the event of a fault current there is sufficient resistance to ensure a safe shutdown. In addition, measuring the protective conductor resistance enables the continuity of conductors and connections to be checked. A graphical representation of the wiring helps the operator make measurements correctly.
The brightness of the display can be adjusted in 4 levels. An adjustable alarm tone warns in the event of errors or if the limit value is exceeded. The installation tester’s adjustable switch-off time can prevent the batteries from unintentionally discharging. The device is supplied with test leads that meet the specific requirements of CAT III / 600 V and CAT IV / 300V.
The installation tester offers a user-friendly interface, clear display elements and a robust construction to meet the needs of various environments. By adhering to international standards, it ensures safe and reliable assessment of electrical installations according to the highest industry standards.
With our optional EVSE test adapters, tests can also be carried out on wall boxes and charging stations for electric vehicles.
